The Indie-Scribable Eclectic Electrick
The almost newest asset to the station is Paul Quane. He is an experienced nutjob and has played his tunes on different stations, such as CSRFM back in the olden days. There is Indie and there is Indie. We have had classical Indie such as Joy Division before, we have had modern english Indie, classic english Indie, american Indie... but Paul Quane will open your ears and eyes to a whole new world of Indie sporting such bands as Battles, Grizzly Bear and Gang Gang Dance.
Straight through to the morning, Radio Sharm Live goes classical. Tune in for greats from the greats, the likes of Mozart, Verdi, Rachmaninov and don't forget your Chopin Lizst (shopping list, arf).
Every day between 6pm to 8pm we have a slot for local dive and freedive instructors, windsurf and kitesurf instructors, yoga teachers, and any other locals to chat about their sports or activities. This is a great opportunity to promote Sharm el Sheikh and Dahab, and everything that goes on in between, to our listeners across the world.
Sharmers and Dahabians, please send your events news (special club nights, promotions and any other local news) by email HERE for to be included in our local information sections.
